Secret Files: Codename Mayhem – Dev Log 1

Today I spent time refining mechanics and getting prepped to start coding items and making things into closer to mathematical formulas. As we all know games are mainly computer code, and math behind the scenes. It’s just math with a pretty skin on top. As such you need to know what you’re modifying, and define everything clearly. I got a rough digital mockup of the board layout, plus some key terms defined. I plan to refine rules shortly. As much as I hate to, I think I’m going to remove the idea of Popular favor from the game, as it just makes the game more complex. As such I’m going to leave it at just the destruction mechanics really.

Tomorrow I plan to work on the store where you can buy products with the art I have so far printed on it (Think Coasters, cups, notebooks, stuff like that) On that note I am logging off.
